“What would the world look like if we viewed other animals as individuals, as someones instead of somethings? If, instead of drawing lines, we drew circles? If we embraced the language and nuances of emotion as a common language between all species?”
NatureStage was founded as a non-profit arts organization in 2006 to use the power of storytelling with various art forms to explore our relationship with other species and inspire a more compassionate treatment of the planet from the inside out, by learning more about our own human nature and challenging human exceptionalism. We use education, wonder, films and live performance to expand our circle of compassion. The current projects–The One Language Project and The Elephant Project–are all in various ways addressing these goals. You can find out more about them on the projects page, watch clips, listen to audio, and find links about the issues.
